Suzanne from Den Bosch

As a little girl I was already very active, dancing, running and jumping all day long. This eventually led to a study at a Teacher Dance course, a course to become a Personal Trainer and a Master in Sports and Movement Innovation. Being busy with dance and sports just makes me very happy and enthusiastic, because what is more fun than helping people achieve sporting goals and especially giving them the joy of sports? Whether it is teaching young children a new dance technique, helping someone after an injury or guiding someone with weight loss. The progress that others make always does me a lot of good. I therefore enjoy giving dance lessons, Bootcamps and Personal Training from my own company Dance Health Motion.

It often happens that I teach more than 5 hours of dance lessons in a row, in between there is no time for a coffee break with apple pie. Which also totally gets in the way of teaching dance lessons. That is why I like to eat something small and healthy on those days.

The products of Kalkman ensure that I can quickly eat something during the change of lessons and have enough energy for the next lessons. In addition, these products are very suitable for people with lactose intolerance. Which makes it very pleasant for me, with such an intolerance!

On the bike

In addition to my work, I love to regularly get on my bike to make a nice trip with friends, to go for a run, to take a dance lesson for myself and in the winter I hope for natural ice every year. On my bike I also like to participate in day trips, but you can always nudge me for a nice trip made by myself with friends. Especially if it is with the cycling club that rides around in my company outfit or a wonderful cycling holiday with my father in France. I also really like to use Kalkman products while cycling. It is a good boost during the rides and during the cycling holiday in France sometimes also a necessary lifesaver against the hunger knock.

preparation for the winter triathlon

Cycling started in 2018 in preparation for the winter triathlon. In the end, I enjoyed it so much that I kept going. I always liked running less, but that is slowly starting to change. Because I am getting better at it. For example, in the beginning I quickly suffered from shin splits and I noticed that dancing condition is really something different than running condition. Now that I have been training more regularly for a few years, I notice good progress and the pleasure in running is also starting to increase. One day I hope to be able to run a nice 15 km and in January 2022 I hope to complete the winter triathlon again.

Besides sports I also love to do something completely different, like baking cakes and playing games with friends and family. Although my friends and family sometimes find playing games with me a bit less, because I am also very fanatic about that.
