Cycling hotel in the Vosges
Our passion for cycling and mountains brought us, Ella and Monique, to the French Vosges for the first time in 2017. That was also our first introduction to the Sportherberg. We were immediately captivated by the versatility of this beautiful area. When we were given the unique opportunity to take over the hotel and turn our hobbies (cycling, coaching and cooking) into our work, we didn't have to think twice.

Close to Tilburg Central Station, a cozy building on Nieuwlandstraat has been transformed into Cargo Bikes & Coffee. In this Brabant cycling café you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, a small repair to your two-wheeler and a homemade alfajores (sandwich cookies, filled with chocolate, caramel or jam). You can also enjoy one of the cycling magazines or (exchange) books from the bookcase.

Cycling with friends
Ploegmaats originated from a group of friends with a love for cycling and good food/drinks. The group of friends still exists, but Neal is the one who continued with Ploegmaats. Ploegmaats has now grown into a full-service event agency and we organize a number of events per year. We do this mostly under our own management, but sometimes also on assignment.
